Can Batiste was born more than 30 years ago, a family business that was created by Batiste and Montse on December 17, 1982 in San Carlos de la Rapita.
In its beginnings it started as a small restaurant in the center of the town, Mesón Can Batiste; Soon this establishment became too small and it was decided to undertake an initiative that would lead to the construction of a new establishment in 1990. This new restaurant had a greater capacity and, in addition to the restaurant, this equipment was prepared to house 10 rooms that were set up in the form of Pension 2 years later. Around 1996 it was expanded with a second dining room that was used for conventions, banquets.
Now more than 10 years after the last major improvement we have decided to undertake a new challenge with the restructuring of the premises, building 15 more rooms, which added to the reform of the existing ones, the new establishment will have 25 rooms.
As a result of this remodeling, we wanted to acquire the category of 3-star Hotel, considering that previously we were a 2 * pension (maximum category for pensions) we have decided to increase a step to meet the needs of our customers.
Our mission is to continue giving a high quality service with a qualified, professional, young but prepared human team together with the old guard and above all highly motivated to make the client more than meet their expectations, without neglecting awareness of the environment and the environment.
The main objective is to offer innovative products for the area taking into account that the establishment is located in an area with very high quality products (wine, oil, fish, seafood, rice …); enhance the preparation of menus and dishes for the restaurant with indigenous raw materials, giving it maximum added value by manipulating them with highly qualified labor through appropriate training programs and processes.
